The Washington Generals ran past the visiting Pillow Academy Mustangs football squad by a count of 42-21 in Friday's non-league test.

The Generals now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bayou Academy for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Washington will meet a Colts squad coming off a 28-17 non-league win over St. Joseph (Greenville, MS). The Colts record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Pillow Academy drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS) to meet the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Simpson Academy lost 29-26 in their recent league challenge against Leake Academy (Madden, MS)
