August 29, 2025: Sioux Rapids, IA 50585 The Sioux Central Rebels football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Pocahontas Indians to 6 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rebels now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host West Sioux for a A District 1 test on Friday, September 5. Sioux Central will face a Falcons team coming off a 52-7 non-league win over Sheldon (Sheldon, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
The Indians (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lawton-Bronson (Lawton, IA). The Eagles come into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Lawton-Bronson was knocked off by Woodbury Central (Moville, IA), 33-20, in a non-league outing.
