Georgia High School Football - Roswell nudges Walton

August 29, 2025: Marietta, GA 30062

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Roswell Hornets football squad scored a close 30-28 triumph over the Walton Raiders.

The Hornets (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Buford (Buford, GA). The Wolves go into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Buford nipped Benedictine (Savannah, GA), 42-14, in a non-league battle.

The Raiders now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Norcross for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Walton will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 45-28 non-league win over Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-0.
