The SA Roosevelt Rough Riders football team (San Antonio, TX), was crushed 62-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX)

With the win, Smithson Valley advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rangers travel to Brennan (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Bears in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 4. The Bears enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Brennan won 21-13 in their recent non-league contest against Reagan (San Antonio, TX)

Coming up next, the Rough Riders confront the East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 5. SA Roosevelt will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
