New York High School Soccer - Carthage knocks off South Lewis
August 29, 2025: Carthage, NY 13619 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Carthage Comets (Carthage, NY) and the visiting South Lewis Falcons (Turin, NY), witnessed Carthage's soccer team beat South Lewis by a final score of 4-0.
With the triumph, Carthage moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Pulaski (Pulaski, NY) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a record of 0-1. Pulaski lost 9-3 in their recent non-league battle against Copenhagen (Copenhagen, NY)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Beaver River Beavers (Beaver Falls, NY) in a Frontier- Division C battle, on Thursday, September 11. South Lewis will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
