The Vallejo Redhawks walloped the host Highlands Scots football team by a score of 38-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Redhawks play the Mt. Diablo Red Devils (Concord, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Vallejo will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Red Devils go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 16-8 non-league win over Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA).

The Scots (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kennedy (Sacramento, CA). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Kennedy was ripped by Galt (Galt, CA), 49-0, in a non-league challenge.
