With the triumph, Franklin Academy moves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC) to meet the Phoenix in a Diamond Nine 1A/2A/3A match on Wednesday, September 3. The Phoenix come into the match with a record of 4-1. Raleigh Charter won 3-2 in their recent league match against East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC)
The Red Rams now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corinth Holders for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. Franklinton will confront a Pirates squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 5-1.
