Illinois High School Soccer - Fremd knocks off Lake Zurich
August 29, 2025: Palatine, IL 60067 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Fremd Vikings (Palatine, IL) and the visiting Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), saw Fremd's soccer squad knock off Lake Zurich by a score of 4-1.
The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Berwyn/Cicero Morton Naperville North (Naperville, IL), 1-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Bears confront the Boylan Catholic Titans (Rockford, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 2. Lake Zurich will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Titans come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 7-0 league win over Hononegah (Rockton, IL).
