Missouri High School Soccer - Romeoville nudges Gateway Legacy Christian Academy
August 29, 2025: Florissant, MO 63031 In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Romeoville Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Gateway Legacy Christian Academy Lions.
The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Beecher (Beecher, IL). The Bobcats enter the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Beecher edged Clifton Central (Clifton, IL), 6-0, in a league test.
The Lions now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Champaign Central for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30.
