Missouri High School Soccer - Smith-Cotton knocks off Odessa
August 29, 2025: Sedalia, MO 65301 The Smith-Cotton Tigers soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Odessa Bulldogs to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Helias for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. Smith-Cotton will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to St. Mary's South Side (St. Louis, MO). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Odessa moves to 0-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Chrisman (Independence, MO) to face the Bears in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 2. The Bears go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Chrisman lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Center (Kansas City, MO)
