August 29, 2025: Ellsinore, MO 63937 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Twin Rivers Royals (Broseley, MO) and the host East Carter Redbirds (Ellsinore, MO), observed Twin Rivers's softball team get by East Carter by a tally of 5-1.
The Royals (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Saxony Lutheran (Jackson, MO). The Crusaders go into the Class 2 District 3 match with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Redbirds battle the Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 2. East Carter will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
