Texas High School Volleyball - Edison can't get by Alice
August 29, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78212 Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX), 2-1 in a non-league outing.
The Coyotes now have a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Miller for a 5A Region IV District 29 outing on Tuesday, September 2. Alice will play a Buccaneers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Pace (Brownsville, TX). The Buccaneers record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Edison drops to 6-9 on the season. The Golden bears host Fox Tech (San Antonio, TX) to face the Buffaloes in a 5A Region IV District 27 game on Tuesday, September 2. The Buffaloes go into the game with a record of 2-10. Fox Tech won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against San Antonio Memorial (San Antonio, TX)
