The crowd at Friday's league battle between the The Classical Academy of Sarasota Patriots (Sarasota, FL) and the host Canterbury Crusaders (St. Petersburg, FL), saw The Classical Academy of Sarasota's volleyball squad notch a victory over Canterbury by a score of 3-0.

With the win, The Classical Academy of Sarasota improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Patriots host Sarasota Military Academy (Sarasota, FL) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 3-2. Sarasota Military Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Bayshore (Bradenton, FL)

The Crusaders now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeside Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 2. Canterbury will meet a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league win over Brandon Academy (Brandon, FL). The Lions record now stands at 3-4.
