In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Wimberley Texans volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Canyon Lake .

Next up, the Texans face the Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 29. Wimberley will attempt to advance on its 19-5 season record. The Matadors go into the game with a 11-11 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Devine (Devine, TX).

The (11-7) will now prepare for their game against Floresville (Floresville, TX). The Tigers/Jaguars go into the non-league game with a 14-7 record. In their last game, Floresville gained a win over Lockhart (Lockhart, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
