Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - North Penn over Faith Christian Academy
August 29, 2025: Lansdale, PA 19446 In Friday's non-league challenge, the host North Penn Knights volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Faith Christian Academy Lions.
The Knights (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Pennridge (Perkasie, PA). The Rams come into the Suburban One - Continental test with a 0-0 record.
The Lions now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perkiomen School for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 10.
Match Summary
The North Penn Knights extended their undefeated streak to 4-0 with a 3-1 win over Faith Christian. Set one was tight early until senior captain Madlen Potrusilova powered the Knights to a 25-18 win with four kills. In set two, sophomore Holland Van Ooyen served six straight points to spark a dominant 25-14 victory. Faith Christian fought back in set three, edging North Penn 26-24 despite strong play from setters Belle Mikulski and Sofie Potrusilova. The Knights regrouped in the fourth, with Madlen serving five in a row and libero Kate Donaldson adding two more to build a 17-11 lead. Belle Mikulski’s serve extended the gap, and North Penn sealed the match 25-17. The Knights’ 4-0 start is their best since 2009, solidifying them as a conference contender.
