Ohio High School Soccer - Avon nudges Chagrin Falls
August 30, 2021: Avon, OH 44011 Avon Eagles (Avon, OH) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Chagrin Falls Tigers (Chagrin Falls, OH), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH) in a Southwestern challenge, on Wednesday, September 1. Avon will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
The Tigers now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Magnificat for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 2. Chagrin Falls will confront a Blue Streaks team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 3-1.
