Ohio High School Soccer - Rocky River knocks off Louisville
August 30, 2021: Rocky River, OH 44116 Rocky River Pirates (Rocky River, OH) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Louisville Leopards (Louisville, OH), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates confront the Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH) in a Great Lakes challenge, on Tuesday, August 31. Rocky River will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Invaders enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North (Eastlake, OH).
The Leopards now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Perry for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 4. Louisville will confront a Panthers team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Jackson (Massillon, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.
