August 30, 2022: Burnsville, NC 28714 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) volleyball squad nudged the host Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the Bears face the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) in a contest, on Thursday, September 1. Pisgah will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 6-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Tuscola (Waynesville, NC).
With the loss, Mountain Heritage moves to 2-3 on the year. The Cougars host Freedom (Morganton, NC) to face the Patriots in a non-league contest on Wednesday, August 31. The Patriots go into the contest with a record of 2-4. Freedom lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC)
