August 30, 2022: Laurel, MS 39440 The Laurel Golden Tornadoes volleyball team (Laurel, MS), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS)
The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS). The Warriors enter the Class 6 Region 5 challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Oak Grove defeated Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Tornadoes encounter the South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS) in a Class 5 Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, September 6. Laurel will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
