Virginia High School Football - Western Branch drops to Benedictine
August 30, 2023: Richmond, VA 23238 In Wednesday's non-league game, the Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) football team knocked off the visiting Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), by a final score of 34-14.
The Cadets (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Georgetown Prep (North Bethesda, MD). The Little Hoyas come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record.
The Bruins now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host King's Fork for a non-league game on Thursday, September 7. Western Branch will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Churchland (Portsmouth, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
