Utah High School Football - Minico knocked off by Mountain Crest
August 30, 2023: Hyrum, UT 84319 Mountain Crest Mustangs (Hyrum, UT) fans left the game content Wednesday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Minico Spartans (Rupert, ID), 41-16 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Mountain Crest improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Green Canyon (North Logan, UT) to battle the Wolves in a non-league test on Thursday, September 7. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 0-2. Green Canyon lost 44-7 in their recent non-league test against Morgan (Morgan, UT)
With the loss, Minico drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Sugar-Salem (Sugar City, ID) to battle the Diggers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 14. The Diggers come into the test with a record of 1-1.
