August 30, 2023: Dayton, OH 45432 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Carroll Patriots (Dayton, OH) and the visiting Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY), saw Carroll's soccer squad knock off Covington Catholic by a margin of 5-2.
The Patriots now sport a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Indian Hill for a non-league test on Saturday, September 2. Carroll will meet a Braves squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Mariemont (Cincinnati, OH). The Braves record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Covington Catholic drops to 1-3 on the season. The Colonels travel to Cooper (Union, KY) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league test on Thursday, August 31. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 1-1.
