In Wednesday's league battle, the host Bloomfield Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the North Central Thunderbirds.

The Cardinals (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sullivan (Sullivan, IN). The Golden Arrows come into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Sullivan was beaten by Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

With the loss, North Central drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Oblong (Oblong, IL) to battle the Panthers in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 2. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 4-5. Oblong won 2-0 in their recent league contest against Red Hill (Bridgeport, IL)
