The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) and the visiting North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC), saw Foard's volleyball squad beat North Lincoln by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Foard upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Tigers host Watauga (Boone, NC) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Watauga won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC)

The Knights now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host West Iredell for a Western Foothills 3A bout on Tuesday, September 5. North Lincoln will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 7-1.
