August 30, 2023: Grants Pass, OR 97526 The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the North Valley Knights (Grants Pass, OR) and the visiting Phoenix Pirates (Phoenix, OR), saw North Valley's volleyball squad beat Phoenix by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, North Valley upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR) to play the Mustangs in a 4A Skyline bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Hidden Valley won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Yreka (Yreka, CA)
The Pirates now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sutherlin for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. Phoenix will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Siuslaw (Florence, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
