August 30, 2024: Troy Mills, IA 52344 In Friday's non-league match, the host North Linn Lynx football squad scored a close 12-6 triumph over the Alburnett Pirates.
The Lynx (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Postville (Postville, IA). The Pirates come into the A District 4 match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Postville was nudged by Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA), 33-14, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Pirates meet the Camanche Indians (Camanche, IA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 6. Alburnett will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 41-0 non-league loss to Wahlert (Dubuque, IA).
