South Dakota High School Football - Centerville loses to Alcester-Hudson
August 30, 2024: Alcester, SD 57001 Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Centerville Tornadoes (Centerville, SD), 70-44 in a league battle.
With the win, Alcester-Hudson advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cubs travel to Irene/Wakonda (Irene, SD) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Irene/Wakonda lost 52-0 in their recent non-league battle against St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD)
The Tornadoes now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Garretson for a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. Centerville will play a Blue Dragons team coming off a 72-21 non-league loss to DeSmet (DeSmet, SD). The Blue Dragons record now stands at 0-2.
