August 30, 2024: Minot, ND 58703 The Bishop Ryan Lions football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Trinity Titans to 14 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nedrose for a A Region 3 test on Friday, September 6. Bishop Ryan will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 46-12 non-league loss to Southern McLean [Washburn/Wilton/Wing] (Washburn, ND). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Trinity drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Hazen (Hazen, ND) to meet the Bison in a A Region 4 test on Friday, September 6. The Bison come into the test with a record of 1-1. Hazen won 34-28 in their recent non-league test against Turtle Mountain (Belcourt, ND)
