In Friday's non-league match, the host Copley Indians football squad scored a good 33-14 triumph over the Firestone Falcons.

The Indians (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Twinsburg (Twinsburg, OH). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Twinsburg defeated North (Akron, OH), 44-6, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Falcons confront the Norton Panthers (Norton, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 6. Firestone will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 0-3 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to New Bremen (New Bremen, OH).
