August 30, 2024: Braidwood, IL 60408 The El Paso-Gridley Titans football squad scored 23 points and limited the host Reed-Custer Comets to 6 in the Titans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Titans now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Casey-Westfield for a non-league test on Friday, September 6. El Paso-Gridley will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 24-0 non-league win over Red Hill (Bridgeport, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Reed-Custer drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Harvard (Harvard, IL) to meet the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 1-0. Harvard won 42-7 in their recent non-league test against Lisle (Lisle, IL)
