Texas High School Football - Lee sneaks past South Houston
August 30, 2024: Baytown, TX 77520 The Lee Ganders football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting South Houston Trojans to 10 in the Ganders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Ganders now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goose Creek Memorial for a non-league test on Friday, September 6. Lee will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 42-20 non-league loss to Sterling (Baytown, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, South Houston drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Bellaire (Bellaire, TX) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 0-1. Bellaire lost 26-21 in their recent non-league test against Beaumont United (Beaumont, TX)
