The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Shadow Hills Knights (Indio, CA) and the visiting Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets (Blythe, CA), witnessed Shadow Hills's football squad knock off Palo Verde Valley by a score of 28-0.

In their next game, the Knights face the Yucaipa Thunderbirds (Yucaipa, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Shadow Hills will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 55-37 non-league win over Silverado (Victorville, CA).
