Georgia High School Football - South Forsyth defeats Riverwood

August 30, 2024: Sandy Springs, GA 30328

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting South Forsyth War Eagles football squad scored a good 28-14 victory over the Riverwood Raiders.

The War Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their match against North Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Raiders come into the AAAAAA Region 6 outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, North Forsyth achieved victory over Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA), 33-20, in a non-league outing.

With the defeat, Riverwood drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Sequoyah (Canton, GA) to clash with the Chiefs in a AAAAA Region 6 outing on Friday, September 6. The Chiefs come into the outing with a record of 3-0. Sequoyah won 24-21 in their recent non-league outing against Kell (Marietta, GA)
