August 30, 2024: Shasta Lake, CA 96019 The Mt. Shasta Bears football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Central Valley Falcons to 6 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Williams for a non-league test on Friday, September 6. Mt. Shasta will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 36-0 non-league loss to Willows (Willows, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Central Valley drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Falcons host Oroville (Oroville, CA) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Oroville won 26-16 in their recent non-league test against Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA)
