California High School Football - JV Opponent beat Coronado
August 30, 2024: Coronado, CA 92118 The JV Opponent football squad scored 33 points and limited the host Coronado Islanders to 14 in the non-league triumph on Friday.
The now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Evangel Christian for a non-league test on Monday, September 2. JV Opponent will meet a Lightning squad coming off a 38-0 league win over Ezekiel Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Lightning record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Coronado drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Islanders host Classical Academy (Escondido, CA) to meet the Caimans in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Caimans come into the test with a record of 1-0. Classical Academy won 20-7 in their recent non-league test against Valhalla (El Cajon, CA)
