August 30, 2024: Kansas City, KS 66101 The Sumner Academy Sabres soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Bishop Ward Cyclones to 1 in the Sabres non-league victory on Friday.
The Sabres now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Wyandotte for a Meadowlark bout on Thursday, September 5. Sumner Academy will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Washington (Kansas City, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
