August 30, 2024: Taunton, MA 02780 Taunton Tigers (Taunton, MA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Diman RVT Bengals (Fall River, MA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Taunton advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Foxborough (Foxborough, MA) to clash with the Warriors in a Hockomock test on Thursday, September 5. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Bengals now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seekonk for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Diman RVT will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
