Oklahoma High School Softball - Hennessey topped by Blackwell
August 30, 2024: Blackwell, OK 74631 Blackwell Maroons (Blackwell, OK) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Hennessey Eagles (Hennessey, OK), 10-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Blackwell upgrades its record to 12-11 on the year. The Maroons host Okarche (Okarche, OK) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Saturday, August 31. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 7-7. Okarche lost 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Kingfisher (Kingfisher, OK)
The Eagles now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Alva for a 2A game on Friday, August 30. Hennessey will play a Goldbugs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Chisholm (Enid, OK). The Goldbugs record now stands at 8-5.
