Nevada High School Volleyball - Nevada Union tips Churchill County

August 30, 2024: Fallon, NV 89406

In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Nevada Union Miners volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Churchill County Greenwave.

The Miners (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Del Oro (Loomis, CA). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Del Oro was nudged by Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Greenwave meet the Valor Christian Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 30. Churchill County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO).
