Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Leander Lions (Leander, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Marcus improves its record to 4-15 on the season. The Marauders travel to Tomball (Tomball, TX) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 6-14. Tomball lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX)

The Lions now own a 6-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenn for a 5A Region IV District 25 test on Saturday, August 31. Leander will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Stony Point (Round Rock, TX). The Grizzlies record now stands at 11-14.
