The Sachse Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host McAllen Bulldogs to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 12-11 record. They play next when they travel to Shadow Creek for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 31. Sachse will play a Sharks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Round Rock (Round Rock, TX). The Sharks record now stands at 14-6.

With the loss, McAllen drops to 15-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Sharyland (Mission, TX) to play the Rattlers in a 5A Region IV District 31 outing on Tuesday, September 3. The Rattlers come into the outing with a record of 19-2. Sharyland won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Harlingen (Harlingen, TX)
