In Friday's non-league match, the The Burlington School Spartans (Burlington, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Carolina Friends Quakers (Durham, NC) in a NCISAA Central Carolina Athletic match, on Tuesday, September 3. The Burlington School will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Quakers enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to O'Neal (Southern Pines, NC).
