The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, The Woodlands improves its record to 12-6 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Clark (San Antonio, TX) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 10-10. Clark lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Seven Lakes (Katy, TX)

The Vipers now own a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dripping Springs for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Vandegrift will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Coronado (El Paso, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 25-0.
