The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX) and the host Klein Forest Eagles (Houston, TX), witnessed Alief Taylor's football squad edge Klein Forest by a tally of 30-27.

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Cypress Springs got by Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX), 49-14, in a non-league bout.
