In Saturday's non-league match, the host Eagle River Wolves football squad scored a decisive 42-0 triumph over the Barrow Whalers.

The Wolves (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Soldotna (Soldotna, AK). The Stars go into the Railbelt battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Soldotna walloped Dimond (Anchorage, AK), 56-7, in a non-league battle.

The Whalers now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Kodiak for a Mid Alaska battle on Saturday, September 6. Barrow will play a Bears team coming off a 33-8 non-league loss to Houston (Big Lake, AK). The Bears record now stands at 0-2.
