Danbury Lakers (Lakeside, OH) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Waldron Spartans (Waldron, MI), 52-36 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Danbury advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Lakers travel to Stryker (Stryker, OH) to play the Panthers in a Northern 8 (8 Man) battle on Saturday, September 6. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 0-1. Stryker lost 36-16 in their recent league match against Holgate (Holgate, OH)

Coming up next, the Spartans confront the Litchfield Terriers (Litchfield, MI) in a Southern Central - Blue (8 Man) match, on Friday, September 5.
