Illinois High School Soccer - Lake Zurich holds off Fremd
August 30, 2025: Lake Zurich, IL 60047 Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Fremd Vikings (Palatine, IL), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lake Zurich advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Vikings now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Rolling Meadows for a non-league test on Monday, September 8.
