In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Vestavia Hills Rebels flag football squad scored a good 27-12 triumph over the Brewbaker Tech Rams.

The Rebels (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Carver Montgomery (Montgomery, AL). The Wolverines go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Carver Montgomery was dropped by Central (Phenix City, AL), 40-0, in a league battle.

The Rams now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Northside Methodist Academy for a battle on Monday, September 8. Brewbaker Tech will play a Knights team coming off a 34-6 non-league loss to Dothan (Dothan, AL). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
