Ohio High School Soccer - Van Buren toppled by Genoa Area
August 30, 2025: Genoa, OH 43430 The Genoa Area Comets smashed the visiting Van Buren Black Knights soccer team by a tally of 5-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next, the Comets face the Maumee Panthers (Maumee, OH) in a Northern Buckeye game, on Wednesday, September 3. Genoa Area will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Bryan (Bryan, OH).
