Maine High School Soccer - Mt. Ararat knocks off South Portland
August 30, 2025: Topsham, ME 04086 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) and the visiting South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME), saw Mt. Ararat's soccer squad knock off South Portland by a score of 3-0.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME). The Cougars enter the Class A - North outing with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Red Riots confront the Kennebunk Rams (Kennebunk, ME) in a Class A - South outing, on Thursday, September 4. South Portland will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
